Using Poll Everywhere with Powerpoint

If you do not currently have the Poll Everywhere for Powerpoint plugin you can download it here. Links to an external site.

This plugin is already installed on all WPI Classroom computers.

Open Powerpoint, if you are using Powerpoint 365 make sure you a logged in with your WPI credentials.   Click on the Poll Everywhere tab at the top of the page and click login with your Poll Everywhere credentials.

Once you are logged in you have the option to click on "New" and create an activity (you cannot edit point assignments here this must be done on the Poll Everywhere website).

Most commonly, you will click on Insert and add activities you have created on the web.

You can select as many activities as you want and insert them in to PowerPoint.  Once inserted you can move the slides anywhere in your PowerPoint you would like them to appear.

For your slides to become "Activated" you must by in Full Screen Presentation Mode on your PowerPoint.  The slides will automatically activate as your get to a slide you can "lock" "show results" "clear results" "activate" your slides by hovering over the top right of the slide in slide show mode, a menu will appear for you.
