Copy Course Content from a Canvas Course

The Course Import Tool makes it easy to extract course content, assignments, and quizzes from previous semesters and quickly import them into existing courses.

To import content from one course into another, go to the course you wish to import content in and click on Settings.

 Click Import Content into this Course.

Choose Copy a Canvas Course option.

Select the course you would like to import from and choose either to copy the entire course or to select specific content. Then choose Import.

You can adjust due dates at this time if you prefer or you can wait and adjust the due dates once the course is copied.

Once the course is imported, if you chose to only import specific content, click on the Select Content option and choose the content you wish to import. The content you choose will automatically be added to the appropriate place within the course.
