Schedule Reoccurring Appointments in the Calendar
Would you like to use the Canvas Calendar to post office hours and/or reoccurring events? Good news! The Canvas Calendar now has a feature to do this.
Here are the instructions Links to an external site. for creating a reoccurring calendar event:
- Go to the Calendar and click on the first event date.
- Enter the details as you would any other event, then click on More Options.
- Check the Repeat checkbox at the bottom.
- Set the repeat parameters, then select Create Event.
Please note: Currently, this is only set up for course events. You cannot create reoccurring personal events, assignments, or scheduled time slots yet. The option of setting up reoccurring appointments in the Scheduler is currently open for voting here. Consider voting on it if you think it would be a great feature!
