Timing is EVERYTHING!

While the ATC always attempts to produce you poster as quickly as possible, we do not guarantee any production with less than 3 full business days if you are submitting through our online portal and 2 full business days if submitting in-person. We are not open on weekends or official WPI holidays, so these days will not count as business days.

It is in your best interest to plan your poster production in the best way for your purpose. Waiting to the last minute may not allow for reprints should something go wrong. You may want to practice your presentation/pitch with your poster before you have to do it live. Please plan accordingly.

Large events like GRIE Day, Great Problem Seminars, and Project Presentation Day will all have drop-off deadlines about a week to 10 days ahead of the event. This will allow the ATC to produce the large volume of posters effectively.

Submitting Your Poster to the ATC

The ATC offers two ways to submit posters. You may submit posters through the ATC Online Poster Submission Form found here. You need to submit three business days before you need to pick up the poster. You may submit in person at the ATC with only a two day advanced period (we will review your poster with us here in the office). We accept only pdf and pptx files.
Please note, you can only submit one file per online submission. Files can have more than one slide, but they must all be the same size and being printed on the same paper type. Whenever you switch size and/or paper type, it will require a separate submission.
Files should be 10mb or less. If you have a file that is larger, we suggest putting it into OneDrive and then submitting a dummy file with the link on it. We will then download and print from it.
You will receive an email when your file is accepted by the system.
Staff will review your poster to ensure it is printable. We will email you back if there are any issues.
If you have not produced your poster in PowerPoint, we may not be able to assist you with problems. You will have to correct the errors found during this initial review on your own and return to us an electronic file that is 100% error free.
If submitting in person, you will complete a work order to through our online submission form when in the office, but we will review your poster with you and this reduces the print time.
When your poster has been printed, the ATC will send you an email informing you that it is ready and the total cost for your poster.

Please note:

The ATC does not supply poster tubes or boards for mounting your poster.
If the weather is inclement, you will need to bring something to protect your poster.
You should review your poster as soon as you can upon collecting it from the ATC. If there is a print issue, please email us or call us promptly.
If there is an error on your poster, we will attempt to reprint it as quickly as possible. The staff will inform you when you can come back to pick up your poster. Reprints are not subject to the turn-around time.
If you need to pay for you poster via GoatBucks, please be sure that you have uploaded enough money to your card. Instructions for adding money to your Goat Bucks can be found here.
