Course Syllabus

The Graduate Student and Training Readiness Sessions - STARS - is an annual series of workshops organized by the Office of Graduate Studies that provides overviews on important career and professional development topics. 

STARS workshops in 2023-2024 will be on campus or on Zoom, as noted, and will take place from 12-1 PM EST with lunch provided (if on campus). Registration links are provided below for each session.

The 2023 Fall STARS Sessions include:

August 25, 2023 - Career Launch/Navigating a Career Fair (GP 1002)

September 8, 2023 - Team Dynamics/Working Effectively In Project Teams In Courses (Zoom)

October 6, 2023 - Having Challenging Conversations. 12-1 PM on Zoom.

November 10, 2023 - Job and Internship Searches. 4-5 PM in GP 1002.

January 30, 2024 - Networking and LinkedIN. 3-4 PM in Higgins House Great Room

February, 2024 date TBD - Entrepreneurship. 12-1 PM on campus

March 22, 2024 - WPI Grad Alumni/Career Panel. 12-1 PM on Zoom

April, 2024 date TBD - Job interviews, job offers and negotiation. 12-1 PM on campus
