• I would say this is one of the most amazing patterns in interactive visualization.

• This video dives into the deep end directly, and some context for it may be missing, but please try to glean the overall concepts and the D3 brush feature in particular.
• Depending on how deeply you want to go into working with React, you can optionall watch videos in the same series that come before and after this episode, namely Episode 36 through to Episode 45.
• Also, you can study the many existing examples of brushing with D3, starting from the d3-brush documentation.
